“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a first step” by a famous Chinese scholar Laozi (Lao Tzu). I have heard of this many times but it just cannot seal it in my head. May be that’s why I am not a millionaire!! The reason why I created this blog, is to motivate myself and to utilise my time efficiently to execute my business plan. I am not yet a millionaire but I believe my vision, I will get there. I know I will.

How do I find out about Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate Marketing is not new to me; I purchased my first affiliate book back in 2004.  This book (Rich Jerk) covered different aspects on how to make money online, from eBay, Affiliate Product, eBook, even talk about some dodgy e-gold trading. Same as any other eBook that I bought over the years,  I have not seriously implemented any of the methods.

Not until one of my friend quited his job mid 2008 to go full time on affiliate marketing. He has over 20 websites which he started one by one since beginning 2008 and gradually his affiliate marketing income was than his full time job (probably 6000 to 7000 dollars). He told me “If I go full time, I could achieve a better result”.
Now he is living in Thailand in a massive penthouse with his personal gym, swimming pool. Well, rent is not expensive in Thailand anyway but he earns his living and he can work on his own business anytime.

New Plan

Beginning 2009, my wife and I wrote down what we want to achieve for this year. I wrote down few things for my New Year resolution. Get Health, Clear Debts and Earn more money. I am reaching 30 this year and I realise I may not have enough free time after my 30, as my wife and I are planning to start a family next year. Realistically I have one year to try my best to achieve some goals and try my best to create a new income steam to pay off our debts.
I don’t know how many of you have been inspired by President Obama. Sometimes you just need someone to encourage and motivate you,  “Yes We Can”. May be not earning million a year but I know I can do something in this year to make a better living for our future.

It has been 4 years that I have not started my affiliate marketing, and I know this is the time. I hope this blog will grow with you and encourage you to make this business work together. God bless.

How to create multiple income streams?

What I realised:

* I may not have enough spare time after 2009, if we are going to start a family.
* I will need more capital to sustain the family.
* I need to clear my debt to achieve what I want.
* If I don’t achieve this in 2009. I may have a tough time to achieve in 2010. Time won’t wait for me.
What I want to achieve:

1. Debt Free, get 50K  a year
Solution: Reduce Expenses, Save, Earn More.
2. Financial Freedom, earn 10k per month
Solution: Find more income streams.
3. Be Healthy
Solution: Exercise, go to the gym.

My Challenge:

1. Time – Realistically I will have free time between 6-8am in the morning, 1 hour in lunch, and 1 hour before sleep. 4 hours each day.
2. Discipline – This is the hardest part. There are many distractions and it is rather hard to wake up early in the morning.
Possible Solution: Wake up early and find the quiet time to concentrate my work.

* Involve customers, forum, and leave feedback. Let them get started.
